About

Our mission

WE DO (Women Empowered Democratic Organization) of Passaic County is dedicated to empowering women through involvement in the political process. Our mission is to increase participation, establish a strong foundation, and achieve equality for Democratic women while supporting the causes of the Passaic County Democratic Organization.

We recruit, educate, and support members to be a voice for women in government and politics across our 16 municipalities and at county, state, and national levels.

Our history

WE DO was formed in May 2009 by Passaic County women active in Democratic politics. The organization promotes women’s participation in the political process and better government through the principles of the Democratic Party. Members work for the election of Democratic candidates and promote appointments to boards and commissions.
